Our results are finally published in the #Environmental #Research #Letters (ERL), suggesting that a vast majority of landowners are willing to change their silvicultural practices depending upon the offered price, uncertainty in meeting expected water yields, and the payment vehicle. We did a survey of family #forest landowners (specifically, tree farmers) in #Georgia to ascertain their willingness to accept payments for changing their current silvicultural practices (planting density and thinning intensity) in order to increase water availability from their forestlands.
